Faith in Action

Faith in Action of the River Cities is a faith-based volunteer organization that works with an ever-expanding coalition of congregations, community organizations and groups to fill the gaps in service for some of our area's most vulnerable citizens. Faith in Action recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteer caregivers to provide assistance to the elderly and adults with disabilities. Volunteers care for individuals who have a limited support network. Faith in action serves as a link between formal and informal caregiving services matching those who can help with those who need assistance.

This service which typically provides transportation, shopping, respite, companionship, paperwork, yardwork, minor home repair, light housekeeping and reassurance telephone calls, is based out of the Parish House. Trinity parishioners benefit by serving, and by receiving services, through this high-quality program.
